Network and Location

With multiple datacentres in different locations using Bluesquare datacentres allows us to place our clients in the best location possible, including separating backups from production servers.

The new BlueSquare Milton Keynes Datacentre is one of the very few tier 4 data centres in the UK. Originally purpose built to the highest standards for a leading German bank, BlueSquare Data took over the site in March 2008, completely refitting all of the interior and exterior systems to a very high N+N redundancy level.

The high specification tier IV BlueSquare Data:MK facility benefits from dual diverse substations, as well as multiple diverse dark fibre providers offering an excellent choice in connectivity.

Servers we use

You would be shocked to know that some hosting providers don't actually use server grade hardware, but instead take processors and other components meant for desktops and put them either into desktop towers or server chassis. Then selling these as dedicated servers

The good news is we don't do that, we only use server grade hardware, parts that were designed and built for use in servers. Not only does this increase perfomance it also reduces the changes of hardware failures.

Our main server provider is Dell, who are one of the largest providers of only server grade servers and parts in the UK.
